January 18 – Winnie the Pooh Day

It’s Winnie the Pooh Day!

Happy Birthday to Winnie the Pooh and his creator A.A. Milne!

Winnie the Pooh Treasury written by A.A. Milne and illustrated by Ernest H. Shepard (1990)

This book has been a staple in our house since it’s publication. I have bought multiple copies to give as gifts and to replace my lost or worn out copies. Originally published in 1927, Winnie the Pooh is a timeless piece of children’s literature.

Several take offs from the original have been published over the years. Disney has brought the stories to the big screen for generations to love. You can find the stories in any library or bookstore and in most grocery or department stores with book sections.  Take a look at some of these.
