November 19 – World Toilet Day

Happy World Toilet Day!

This day was created by the World Toilet Organization in 2001 to bring attention to sanitation issues around the world. In the homes of toddlers this day is celebrated anytime the toddler successfully uses the potty. To help in this endeavor, there are several picture books published with the toddler, parents, and toileting in mind. There are books for pirates, princesses, dinosaurs, and many featuring beloved children’s characters.
