October 6 – Mad Hatter Day

Happy Mad Hatter Day!

In Lewis Carrol’s Alice in Wonderland, the Mad Hatter wore a hat with a tag which read 10/6 meaning it costs 10 shillings and 6 pence. Since then, 10/6 October 6th is celebrated as Mad Hatter Day. It’s a day to be silly, funny, mad. Don your silliest hat and be mad today! To help you celebrate here are some new hat picture books featured on my blog.
